Let's meet!

Pay attention.
Be astonished.
Tell about it.

Not only are those words my life motto, but they are my philosophy as a photographer, as well. I love observing life as it unfolds through my camera. As a new mom, I understand more than ever how quickly time passes and how valuable it is to have moments captured on film!

Along with photography, I have a love for my family, the great outdoors, and good food. My perfect day would be spent preparing a delicious meal for friends and family and then enjoying it together on an Alaskan mountaintop.

Our family photo is by the lovely Kelly Marcelo.

  • Kelley is a exceptional photographer, and we’re fortunate to have had her photograph our family for the last six years. Our first photo shoot together was for our son’s newborn photos in our home, and since then, she’s photographed our family over a dozen times. She’s always game for an adventure, and we have a lot of fun working with her. And, we’re so thankful to have such a beautiful collection of photographs that capture our family perfectly!

  • Kelley is great photographer and so easy to work with. Our family photos are amazing. Kelley was able to capture moments with our son that we will cherish for a lifetime! I would definitely recommend her if you are looking for a photographer who will take the time to understand what you want and do an excellent job at making your vision a reality.

  • Kelley is so incredibly talented. She did family photos for us and our 3 week old. She's patient and went with the flow. And WOW our photos are incredible. I'd recommend her to anyone and will be using her for all future photography needs!

“Anything one does everyday is important and imposing. And anywhere one lives is interesting and beautiful.” -GERTRUDE STEIN

During our session, I aim to bring families into the present with each other … and not the camera. I strive to capture the moments that reveal what your relationship is made of each day, when no one is watching. I want to capture the tickles and squirms you have with your toddler, the little kisses you share with your partner, and the walks you take each day with your dog. It may feel “mundane” or “not photogenic” – but these are the bits of time that make up our lives and they’re composed of so many gestures, smiles, hugs – interactions we often forget as they pass and turn into years.
